Mitel PARTNERprogram takes channel accreditation to the next level
Sydney, Australia – 20 September, 2012 – Mitel (Nasdaq: MITL, TSX: MNW), a leading provider of unified communications and collaboration solutions, yesterday hosted its annual MPower partner conference in Vietnam at The Park Hyatt, Ho Chi Minh City. Billed as Mitel’s premier channel event in the APAC region, the two day conference played host to presentations from Mitel C-Level executives and recognised the contribution the channel has made to Mitel’s 43% growth in APAC since the last event in 2010.
Gwilym Funnell, vice president for Mitel Asia Pacific, kicked off the two day event with a welcome address, with Mitel’s Chief Technical Officer Jim Davies delivering his vision and forecasts for the technology marketplace in the region.
Gwilym said, “Mitel’s priority is to help customers find the most effective unified communications and collaboration solutions. Channel partners are given a platform through MPower to learn more about changing communications needs and technological advancements, which will help them realise our customers’ communications strategy.”
The event was also an opportunity for Mitel to underline its commitment to its partners via the recently enhanced Mitel PARTNERprogam. All authorizedPARTNERS will be certified on the latest solutions and releases, with full support from marketing and sales to ground-up technical development.
