October 9, 2020 – Nadine joined the Orion 247 commercial team just over 12 months ago and has quickly forged integral relationships with new and existing partners throughout Europe.
She provides account management to large resellers and MSPs across the region including; France, The Netherlands, Germany, The Nordics and Russia to name a few. Nadine is their single point of contact for global requirements in third party maintenance, ongoing project resources and ad hoc interventions.
‘My role at Orion is so varied – I love it! Working closely with my accounts and seeing the value we add on a daily basis is really rewarding. Our partners rely on us as a single point of contact for all their global on-site technical support and resource needs. Using Orion as their preferred supplier means they can save valuable time by not having to get pricing from multiple, in-country sources. Our model allows us to provide a really quick turnaround on quotes – I always aim to respond with pricing within the hour,’ explains Nadine.
Nadine’s role at Orion isn’t just about providing responsive pricing, she collaborates with our service team constantly, assisting with maintaining a high level of communication at all times. She plays a vital role in overseeing all projects, as well as being the first port of call for her accounts should any issues arise.
Like many businesses, Orion saw a dip in on-site activity during March and April this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the tight restrictions on movement. Many projects that were put on hold are now coming into fruition and we are experiencing a high demand around telecommunication skills and resources to carry out wireless network surveys.
‘According to IDC forecasts, by 2021 digital coworkers will increase by 35%. The shift from office to home working is definitely changing how the IT infrastructure and landscape looks like for many companies. More robust connectivity and security are at the forefront, as a result we have seen a surge in wireless survey requirements across Europe,’ comments Darrell Arnold, Sales Director at Orion.
Over the last two months, Orion has provided certified wireless engineers to conduct passive and active surveys at more than 20 sites across Europe. We have recently kicked off a project via a partner to dispatch wireless engineers to sites in Albania, Greece, Switzerland and Russia. Led by Nadine, this project is expected to run for three months, with further requirements in another 6 countries across Europe in the pipeline.
‘Providing on the ground resources in areas such as Eastern Europe and Russia can appear challenging, but at Orion we have built such a strong and trusted network in these regions that it is almost second nature for us. We have instant access to English and native speaking engineers with extensive local knowledge which is a unique and powerful position to be in,’ explains Nadine.
