September 21, 2022 – Curvature, a Park Place Technologies Company, the global leader in new and preowned IT hardware, announced today that it has been certified ISO 27001:2013.
This important milestone demonstrates that Curvature utilizes industry best practices for securing and operating their global services and the processes that deliver them. This was validated by one of the industry’s most well-known standards boards. The ISO 27001:2013 certification applies to Park Place globally, to Curvature Hardware sales, and Entuity Software.
ISO 27001:2013 is a global standard for information security, published by International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The robust requirements of this security management framework ensure best practices for securing assets including corporate information, intellectual property, employee information, and information entrusted by third parties.
“We know that it is valuable to have trusted third-party reports when considering a technology investment, said John Parlee, Chief Information Security Officer. “We spent the time and engaged our teams to demonstrate how we provide trusted services to our customers.”
“Data privacy and security are a top priority for businesses,” said Chris Adams, Park Place President and CEO.” “There is a significant investment in time and finance in obtaining these certifications,” Adams continued. Our ongoing certifications provide our customers with assurance of our commitment to the highest standards of security.”
Michael Cantor, Chief Information Officer, had this to say, “When it comes to our customers, we do what is right. Not only do we rely upon certified third-party partners in the delivery of our services, but we have fully certified our operations across the organization to ensure consistent security. If you look at the vendor landscape today, you don’t always see the investment in certifying all operations versus certifying a small portion.”
