Event to Focus on Strategic IT Markets
CLEARWATER, Fla., Sept. 8, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Tech Data Corporation (Nasdaq:TECD) today announced it will host its Fall Channel Link conference on September 22-24, 2014 at the Orlando World Center Marriott in Orlando, Florida. Channel Link will include all-new education channel tracks that will focus on four strategic markets in IT: cloud, mobility, data center, and software and security. The semiannual event is expected to attract more than 400 channel partners.

The fall Channel Link event will feature keynote speaker Michelle McKenna-Doyle, SVP & CIO of the National Football League, who will host the women of the channel luncheon and discuss her career and experience combining the fields of technology and professional sports. Now in its fifth year, this popular luncheon provides an opportunity to discuss best practices with successful and influential women in IT leadership. Channel Link will also feature Scott McKain, a recognized expert on distinction and bestselling author, as well as David Meerman-Scott, a bestselling author and noted marketing and sales strategist.
Channel Link education tracks are designed to provide IT resellers with highly relevant, impactful information and tips that result in actionable growth. Education tracks will include:

In this track, the TDCloud team and industry experts will unpack top managed-services offerings, as well as share ways to position, sell and scale solution providers’ cloud business to adequately leverage the vast opportunity that exists within cloud services. Topics include: Critical Infrastructure Protection in the Cloud; Healthcare Security: How to Protect Yourself; and Peer-to-Peer Workshop.
