NORCROSS, Ga., June 25, 2012—CentricsIT announced today its acquisition of CoreIT Assets, an Atlanta-based IT solutions provider specializing in computer recycling and the recovery of technology-related assets. The merger brings a number of enhanced resources and services to CoreIT Assets customers, including in-house engineering, a multitude of data center services, and access to a substantially larger inventory of server, storage and networking hardware. CoreIT Assets CEO Todd Unverzagt joins CentricsIT as an Enterprise Storage Specialist, focusing on delivering EMC, Hitachi, Brocade, IBM, and other storage solutions to CentricsIT customers. George Patton, Vice President at CoreIT Assets, will bring his expertise to CentricsIT as an IBM iSeries Specialist. Both new positions are effective immediately.
“We are excited about having a bigger toolbox at our disposal,” said Unverzagt. “We are able to offer much more to our customers in terms of services and hardware availability, now that we’ve joined the CentricsIT family.” CentricsIT President Derek Odegard echoed similar sentiments regarding the merger. “Both Todd and George bring an enormous amount of knowledge and expertise to our team,” he said. “We are excited to have them onboard and are looking forward to serving their customer base with the same quality of service and overall value adds that have come to dene CentricsIT.”
CoreIT Assets will now operate as CentricsIT, and CoreIT Assets customers can expect to work directly with CentricsIT moving forward. All current customers are encouraged to e-mail info@centricsit.com with any questions related to the acquisition.
