Seasoned executive with more than 28 years expertise in telecom and distribution channel development tapped to further grow channel partner program
SAN DIEGO – April 15, 2014 – Voxox®, the most comprehensive cloud-based rich communication service for consumers and businesses, today announced the addition of Joe Schiavone as national channel manager to further develop and grow the company’s robust channel partner program for business cloud services, including hosted IP-PBX, SIP Trunking, a wide array of wholesale services, such as high volume SMS, and the company’s new virtual PBX service, Cloud Phone.
Schiavone joins Voxox with more than 28 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, specifically in distribution channel development. He has built programs from the ground up to hundreds of dealers while driving exponential revenue growth, developing strategic partnerships with major industry groups, such as HTG, Connect Wise and Tiger Paw among others. Schiavone has also spearheaded major national account programs throughout the United States and worldwide with such recognizable brands as Ralph Lauren, State Farm Insurance, Subway, Bed Bath & Beyond and more.

Most recently, Schiavone held the post of VP of channel sales, Hosted PBX and Cloud Technology at FreedomVoice Communications, where he developed a dealer channel throughout the United States from zero to over 500 certified dealers of hosted PBX cloud services. Prior to this he was president of M5 Technologies, where he developed a United States and international distribution and dealer channel for speech recognition comprising 65 dealers and international distribution channels in Australia, Canada and New Zealand. Schiavone spent the early part of his career with Teleco Toshiba. During his tenure there as VP of channel sales for the Western United States, he built the dealer channel from six to over 300 certified dealers throughout nation, and also developed a major national accounts program. Schiavone holds a master’s degree in business administration from Rutgers University and a bachelor’s of science from Syracuse University.
