En Pointe Extends Microsoft Office 365 Business Model to Adobe Subscription Services
LOS ANGELES, CA – August 20, 2013 – Following Adobe’s announcement of the new subscription model for its creative applications, En Pointe Technologies, one of the largest Microsoft partners, today announced the expansion of its Adobe practice to support the growth of Adobe Creative Cloud for teams. With this, the company has created a business model for its Adobe subscription services that replicates its Office 365 success.
En Pointe has been an Adobe authorized licensing partner for over 13 years and is a Platinum reseller and trusted expert on Adobe products, including Creative Cloud for teams. Also one of the largest Microsoft Systems Integrators and Licensing Solutions Providers (LSPs), and top providers for Microsoft Online Services, including Office 365, En Pointe is utilizing its mobility and cloud expertise to further expand its existing Adobe business. By implementing a new Adobe support team that mimics its already successful business model for subscription-based services, En Pointe continues to provide its customers with the same advanced level of expertise, provisioning, configuration, and pre and post-sales support as they transition from perpetual license models.
“Our Microsoft Office 365 team leads the market with a superior value-add. We’ve taken that business model and applied to it our new Adobe Creative Cloud for teams,” said Michael Rapp, president, En Pointe Technologies. “This pre- and post-sales support model greatly enhances the customer experience.”
When a customer buys the new Adobe Creative Cloud for teams membership through En Pointe, they benefit from better pricing, discounts for volume purchases, and multiple licensing program options. Additionally, En Pointe will help with setup, configuration, and ongoing support of the administration portal.
Additional Adobe service offerings include:
- Software Asset Management (SAM) services – reduce out-of-pocket costs by efficiently tracking assets; includes discovery, gap analysis, and consolidation services
- AccessPointe – the powerful eBusiness platform makes procurement processes flexible and efficient
“Adobe Creative Cloud’s greatest strength is that it allows users to explore new applications and services, and the team offering provides an easy and affordable way for IT departments to deliver the latest Adobe innovations to their creative groups,” said Stephen Snyder, vice president of Adobe’s worldwide channel sales. “We’re excited to have En Pointe’s established cloud expertise help creative professionals be more connected as they transition from perpetual license models to Creative Cloud.”
En Pointe has already completed Creative Cloud for team deployments nationwide with dozens of customers across the private, public, and education sectors. Major customers include Fortune 500 finance corporations, nationwide state government accounts, multinational airlines, large pharmaceutical organizations, top national courier companies, marketing agencies, and large commercial accounts, from digital music companies to top clothing manufacturers.
Additionally, as of August 1st, commercial customers can place pre-orders exclusively through resellers like En Pointe for single desktop applications like Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC, InDesign CC, or any of the other apps within the entire collection of CC desktop applications. Now, commercial customers can purchase single apps under the same subscription model (VIP membership) or choose the entire creative collection under Creative Cloud for teams and still have the ability to easily manage all users from a central administrative console.
